Here are the two main DSLR's that I currently use.
Canon's EOS 5D and 20D are both great systems
for an enthusiast like myself. They provide a nice
combination of performance and image quality
but without the stinging price of the 1D series.
 
 
  Here is my current lens selection for the D-SLR's.
 
  Sigma APO 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG HSM
  EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM
  EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro
  EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
  EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM
  EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 (20D Kit)
 
Here is the 5D with Sigma's 50-500mm sitting
atop my Manfrotto tripod and geared head.
   I also use the Sony DSC-F828 digicam as a little
   back-up.  Dig the bitchin' lens attachments.
