Here's an example of the day / night cycle with the lighting system.  At night the blue LED's
come on for nocturnal viewing.  Then early in the morning the white LED's will switch on to
get the fish and corals primed for the day.  Then a couple hours later the actinics (blue) bulbs
will light up to warm up the corals.  Corals use photosynthesis to manufacture food and build
their endoskeletons.  The actinic range of light is the type of radiation they use.  Finally the
metal halides will kick on so the tank has the equivalent of true sunlight beaming down.
