The 3870
X2 is actually longer than the motherboard and requires both
a 6 pin and
8 pin
connector from the power supply. I guess you can get
away with just using the
6 pin
plug but if you want to overclock the card the 8 pin is
necessary. Holy crap
people,
look at that friggin' board! I still remember
the days of my humble Pentuim
200 MMX
with the Monster 3D II 8Mb in SLI mode. Damn, things
have changed.
