Here's
the reason why I'm spending thousands of dollars on new
hardware. My old system
died
with the south bridge chipset burning up. Although it
was long in the tooth it was still
a
formidable machine. With a 3.4GHz Extreme CPU, X850XT
PE GPU, 2Gb Corsair XMS
Platinum
DDR 400Mhz, Audigy ZS Platinum, and pair of 75Gb 10,000rpm
Raptors in RAID
this
little bugger was quite the gaming rig. But with a
stuck fan over the 875P chipset, heat
brought
it all crashing down. But out of the ashes of old my
new workstation will be reborn.
